Versatile text readers with code reading function – VeriSens ID Series

Almost all today's products contain text for labeling and identification – from batch numbers, type names, serial numbers and expiration dates. These need to be tested quickly and reliably within the scope of continuous quality assurance and uninterrupted product traceability.

VeriSens text readers can read (OCR) and evaluate print quality (OCV) plain text consisting of numbers, characters and symbols in a single image – if necessary, directly in your production process. Printing errors caused by wet or static-charged surfaces, false triggers or exhausted ink are detected immediately and costs are reduced by early elimination of faulty products. Thanks to the intuitively operable VeriSens Application Suite, you can configure text readers for your application quickly and without errors, even without extensive font training.

Additionally, all VeriSens text readers have an additional code reading function. This allows them to read and check plaintext simultaneously with bar codes (1D codes such as EAN/GTIN) and matrix codes (2D codes such as DataMatrix). ID510 models with integrated Industrial Ethernet (PROFINET or EtherNet/IP) support easy integration into your system. The configurable web interface, which can also be operated by production personnel, offers optional visualization and job settings in production.
