For this extremely demanding application, Baumer offers ultra-rugged absolute HeavyDuty encoders. The magnetic sensing of the PMG 10 delivers signals with the precision of an optical scanning unit, particularly under high temperature and adverse ambient conditions. Thanks to our contactless multi-turn MicroGen technology, they provide high operational reliability even under the most adverse conditions.
Cut-to-length
Absolute encoders reliably measure the slab's travel speed and length, providing the accurate measured value needed for cut-to-length. Baumer encoders support all common interfaces, simplifying integration at the control level.
