Safety is paramount when it comes to speed sensors for train control systems. Our innovative on-axle encoder guarantees safe speed measurement up to SIL2 level. Configuration flexibility allows integration into virtually every train control and JRU (Juridical Recording Unit) system. Baumer sensors are qualified for multiple train control systems such as ETCS, ZUB, and CBTC, as well as JRU units.
