Jaw Position
Parallel grippers
Task
Indirect measurement of the opening degree of the gripper fingers in order to provide feedback from the gripped part. A wedge or a cam have to be designed into, or added to, the gripper mechanism to act as a target for a miniature inductive distance sensor.
Inductive distance sensors
Sensors for limited installation space
- The world's smallest inductive distance sensor
- Cylindrical housing designs from Ø4 mm to Ø6.5 mm
- Cube housing designs starting from 4.7 mm in height
- Measuring ranges of up to 12 mm
- Fully integrated evaluation electronics
