The configuration software VeriSens Application Suite is common to all image sensors, includes a configurable web interface, is available in nine languages and guides even non-expert users to a fully configured image sensor in four clear steps.
VeriSens SmartGrid – smart calibration target
The image sensor and Universal Robot's patented SmartGrid with automatic coordinate alignment reduces setup times for robot-compatible image sensors to just minutes with higher accuracy, without time-consuming manual hand-eye calibration. Additional Z-calibration is supported for real-time automatic image correction, conversion to world coordinates, and coordinate scaling in space.
VeriSens URCap – access to easy robot control
VeriSens URCap is a user-friendly Universal Robots application for easy installation and integration of image sensors into the program flow. Two additional commands (nodes) are sufficient to take advantage of the versatile VeriSens image processing potential.
FEX image processor
Where others see only grayscales, the patented Baumer FEX image processor for VeriSens image sensors calculates object contours at the subpixel level in real time. This means your image processing functions always work reliably and quickly, even in unstable ambient light conditions.
FEXLoc part location
Integrated FEXLoc part location with reliable 360° part detection enables virtual object alignment to check accurate positions — regardless of background. This means mechanical part alignment is no longer necessary.
VeriFlash flash controller
Thanks to the fully integrated VeriFlash flash controller, XC series VeriSens image sensors produce external flash pulses of up to 48 V and 4 A; thus eliminating the need for expensive external flash controllers and the accompanying programming effort.
