Installation of Capacitive Sensors
To prevent unintentional interference with the measurement field and to achieve maximum detection distances, it is necessary to comply with the installation instructions and maintain the specified minimum distances. If minimum distances are exceeded, a reduction in detection range can be expected. Direct sensor testing is recommended in practice.
Assembly Instruction

Flush Mounting Procedure
Flush-mountable capacitive sensors can be flush-mounted in all materials. Observe the minimum distance between sensors.

Non-Flush Mounting Procedure
For capacitive sensors that cannot be flush-mounted, a free space free of damping material must be created around the sensor head.
Maximum Mounting Torques
To avoid damage during sensor installation, the specified installation torques must not be exceeded.
