Installation of Magnetic Angle Measurement Sensors
Permanent Magnet
When mounting the permanent magnet, make sure that the magnetization direction (north/south pole) is aligned parallel to the sensing surface of the sensor. The carrier material that will hold the magnet must not be ferromagnetic (for example, it must not be steel), otherwise the detection distance will be blocked.
Working Distance
The magnet rotor or permanent magnet must be mounted on the sensor within the specified operating distance. For axial displacement, follow the specifications in the data sheet.

Zero Signal
For a roughly zero signal setting, align the channel paths in the sensor and magnet rotor (accessory). Fine tuning is done electronically by the downstream control. Rotating the permanent magnet clockwise causes an increase in the output signal.
